Temporary Withdrawal of references to the 2014 Champion of Chennai Award to athletics coach P. Nagarajan.
In 2014, we, KSA Trust, gave the Champion of Chennai award for Sports to athletics coach Mr.P. Nagarajan.
It has now come to our notice that Mr.P. Nagarajan has been accused of predatory behaviour and sexual harassment of young girls who had enrolled in his coaching Institute Prime Sports Academy. If these charges are true, the lives of these young ones would have been scarred and traumatised for life. Such inhuman acts cannot be pardoned and should not be ignored by anyone. No amount of otherwise ‘positive service’ can justify this act.
We are herewith temporarily withdrawing all references to the award given to coach Mr. P. Nagarajan till the matter is finally set at rest by the Courts. Appropriate changes and references will be made in our website and other records to inform the public about this.
